If you have information you believe should be included in these records (additions, deletions or corrections), it may be submitted one of three ways:. Submitted by a MHSAA member school athletic administrator on official office letterhead, or by using the (Note: The Federation form is a fillable Word document and may be emailed to the address below.
You may also attach supporting documentation to the email). Submitted by a media member on official office letterhead, enclosing appropriate documentation. The school will then be contacted to verify the information. Appropriate documentation shall include, but is not limited to, the following: copies of scorebooks or game/season statistical summaries, copies of yearbooks, and copies of newspaper clippings. The Record Book is updated on a seasonal basis when possible.

Mary’s and Matthew Mors of Yankton became the thirty-five and thirty six players in South Dakota Boys Basketball history to score over 2,000 Points/Career. Both Connor and Matthew are Juniors. Matthew surpassed the all-time Class AA Total Points/Career previously held by Eric Kline of the Aberdeen Central, 2025 points.Connor Libis became the third player from Dell Rapids St. Mary’s to surpass 2,000 points in his career. Jerry Even scored 2,038 points, and Colby Fitzgerald scored 2,294 points in their careers. The best means for doing a records search is to create a membership and have unlimited access to all of the South Dakota sports records.THREE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIPSDuring the 2012-2013 South Dakota High School Sports season Jacob Adams of Brandon Valley played in the State Football Championship in the fall; Washington defeated Brandon-Valley. During the Winter season Pierre defeated Brandon-Valley in the State Class AA Basketball Championship. During the Spring season Roosevelt defeated Brandon-Valley in the State Baseball Championship.
